Three Women,
Bonded By Their Struggles.
United To Be The Change.
The hosts of Soul SIS! Podcast — Laura Robertson, Dominitrice McCalley, and Carlotta King— come from different walks of life, yet are bonded by a shared fire: to rise above pain, to rewrite their stories, and to empower others to do the same.
Born from struggle. Rooted in sisterhood. This isn’t just a podcast. It’s a movement to empower others to turn their pain into purpose and become the best version of themselves.
Laura’s journey began in a poverty-strickened refugee camp in Thailand, born homeless to Laotian parents who had fled war and communism. Raised in America, she straddled two worlds — navigating culture, race, and identity as a first-generation Asian American. At the height of her corporate career, earning nearly a quarter million dollars in gross income, Laura made the bold decision to walk away to launch Beautiful Potential Consulting LLC, a beauty, branding, and business coaching company.
Her and her husband co-hosted the Blasian Soul Podcast, where culture, love, and community took center stage. After Marcello’s passing from cancer, Laura found strength in sisterhood (SIS). That season of grief gave birth to Soul SIS! — a continuation of their shared legacy, now grounded in healing, womanhood, and resilience.
As a published author, coach, and speaker, Laura uses her voice to empower women to rise, rebuild, and rediscover their beauty and full potential.

Born and raised on the West Side of Chicago, Dominitrice McCalley’s early life was shaped by generational trauma and survival. Her father was indicted to federal prison for selling drugs, and she was raised in an environment that tested her strength early on. After marrying into a Puerto Rican family, she spent years in a toxic relationship — quietly sacrificing her dreams in the name of love and loyalty.
But silence became strength.
Dominitrice broke free and launched Dee’s Butterfly Effect — a multi-faceted movement and business offering virtual paralegal support, administrative solutions, grant writing services, and mentorship for youth and young women. Backed by over 19 years of professional paralegal experience, she brings both wisdom and lived experience to the table.
As an author, educator, and community advocate, she creates content and workshops that uplift and inform underserved communities. Her mission is clear: to help others heal, evolve, and build strong foundations for lasting success.

Carlotta King's journey is one of identity, strength, and divine purpose. Born to a Latina mother and mixed with Black heritage, she often felt caught between cultures — constantly working to be seen and fully accepted. Raised in poverty by a single mother, Carlotta witnessed injustice, struggle, and the weight of being overlooked from a young age.
As an adult, she found herself in a twenty year marriage where her voice was slowly diminished. But that chapter came to an end and Carlotta chose to rise, reclaiming her power as a published author and founder of Kings Klothing — a bold fashion brand and platform that honors faith, royalty, and inner resilience.
Now making waves in the fashion industry, she is set to make her official debut as a featured designer at New York Fashion Week 2025 — using fashion and storytelling to help others walk boldly in their truth, wear their identity with pride, and lead with unwavering confidence.
